The Erdőfű band was founded by well-known figures on the Hungarian folk “dance house” scene to give a comprehensive picture of the diversity and idiosyncrasies of string folk music in the Carpathian Basin while focusing on the particularities of given regions. Their mission is to create an authentic folk music experience by sharing this extensive knowledge.
