Formed in 2008, Berka band is one of the youngest and most spirited formations playing folk music from the Csángó people, ethnic Hungarians living in the Romanian region of Moldavia. Their repertoire includes well-known Moldavian tunes as well as some forgotten gems from remote villages, often described as evoking a medieval atmosphere.
